Jonathan Polon, FSA – Chief Data Scientist

Jonathan Polon is a pioneer in the application of predictive analytics to the life and health insurance industries. He is the former co-founder and Chief Analytics Officer of Claim Analytics, a leading provider of predictive modeling and analytics solutions for the insurance industry.

He has developed and implemented predictive modeling solutions for more than 40 insurance companies. He is an innovator and developer of novel mathematical approaches to healthcare fraud detection, life insurance underwriting, worker’s compensation and disability claims management, and inter-company benchmarking.

Polon is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is a frequent presenter at industry meetings and has published several articles on the development and implementation of predictive models for life and health insurance. He brings his 20+ years of experience in the insurance industry to this project.
