Introduction

The Claim Lab is introducing Project Athena, the first industry-wide index comparing the duration of Short Term Disability Claims. This index will use the full breadth of claim data available to predict short term disability claim durations; give industry averages for STD claims termination; and benchmark individual companies against industry data.
